It's been a busy couple of weeks here at XSB & Co. headquarters.
1. I've been working on a pattern for a new item (hoping to have it available soon!)
2. I've become more involved than I thought I would with the Sequim Open Aire Market (SOAM) Board of Directors.
3. I've set up a space for my products in a brand new store in downtown Port Angeles.
I'll talk about the new product later when it's finished. I probably won't bore you with the details (and drama) of being on the SOAM board (you're welcome). But I WILL tell you about the new store!
It's right in the heart of downtown, at 110 N. Laurel Street. It is run by local coffee roaster-extraordinaire, Denise Brennan, also known as Princess Valiant Coffee. By the way, if you haven't tried her coffee yet, you must! She sells it by half-pound, pound, and also brewed by the cup.
The store name is 'Princess Valiant Coffee and the Best of the Peninsula', as in Olympic Peninsula, the region we live in. Let's step inside:
There's Denise, aka Princess Valiant, ready to offer you a delicious cup of coffee. I would encourage you to get a cup and browse around looking at the wonderful handcrafted items she is offering for sale here. She's gathered together some of the Peninsula's best artisans here in her store.
And, look, here's my section of the store:
I'm really excited to be included in this wonderful opportunity. I would love it if my readers would stop down there to see what Denise has put together. I'll be manning (womaning??) the store this Tuesday, March 2nd so come by and say Hi!
My display will be evolving and changing as I get a feel for what works best here. And Denise will also be adding to the store as she plans to have fresh, organic produce and eggs soon.
That's it for today. I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend!
